Concert
Jim Gallucci and the Compulsions are coming to ULV at 8 p.m., Saturday, in Dailey Theater. Admission for the concert is $12. The Compulsions include Ron Powell, percussionist for Madonna. There will be special musical performances by Michael Ryan and Ken Soderlund. The event will be hosted by Melanie Gartenbaum. For tickets and information, call (909) 964-4951.
Auditions
The ULV theater department will be host open auditions for the November production of “Naughty Marrietta.” Auditions will be held at 7 p.m. on Sept. 16 and 17, in Founders Hall Room 2.
Free tickets
Starting this week, KULV will be giving out two free tickets to the Los Angeles County Fair. Be the designated caller, at ext. 4777 and win the lucky pair of tickets. Listen to KULV for the time to call in.
Movies
Opening today is “Stealing Harvard” starring Tom Green and Jason Lee as friends who get involved in crime to raise $30,000 so that a friend can attend the school of her dreams. Also opening today is “Barbershop” staring Ice Cube and Cedric the Entertainer.
